North East singer Catherine A.D. has put out an urgent plea for help on her new video.
The songwriter is busy attempting to film the video to her new single. After a number of unsuccessful attempts, Catherine A.D. has struck upon a novel idea.
Catherine A.D. is inviting people to send her items belonging to their former partners. These items must actually belong to the person however – don’t go stealing stuff out of their house!
Real name Catherine Anne Davies, the multi-instrumentalist issued a statement saying:
“As part of the video we will have some scenes of destruction where I will do my best to slay your demons and exorcise any possession of your choice that you are happy to part with and see destroyed on film.”
“Suggested object might include: cds, books, stuffed animals/toys, clothing – tshirts, wedding dresses, photos, trinkets, vinyl records, video tapes/VHSs, giant valentine’s cards/birthday cards, love letters, mixtapes etc etc. You get the idea.”
“If you would like to send a short note with the item to explain its history or origin we may also utilize this as part of the artwork/film (although we haven’t firmed this up yet) but I am pretty nosy and love hearing stories…”
Any un-used items will be sent to a local charity. All items should be sent by March 29th and must be marked with ‘CAD’. The address to send it to is:
