Renowned London based composer Cassie Kinoshi has confirmed plans for a new philharmonic jazz album ‘gratitude’.
The composer and saxophonist has worked on numerous projects, a revered figure within UK jazz. Continually stretching herself, Cassie maintains her flagship ensemble seed, a vessel for some of her key ideas and innovations.
Signing to Chicago based powerhouse International Anthem, new album ‘gratitude’ is out on March 22nd. A broad, ambitious work that dives into jazz in its philharmonic form, it features NikNak and London Contemporary Orchestra.
Two preview pieces are online now, displaying Cassie’s talents in full widescreen. Alongside this, Cassie Kinosha has confirmed plans to play London’s Barbican Centre on May 7th – International Women’s Day.
