Rising trio Cassia have shared new single ‘Find My Way Around’.
Out now, it caps a monumental summer for the three-piece. Cassia have toured the UK alongside Circa Waves, supported chart-toppers Bastille, and they’ve also headlined Kendal Calling’s Calling Out stage.
Along the way, singles like ‘High Tones’ and ‘whatstheuse’ have become firm favourites with fans, their pop-edged indie sound supplying some summer thrills.
Out now, ‘Find My Way Around’ is a neat way to end this summer of action, with Cassia turning their gaze inwards. A moment of introspection, the song has a wistful quality – it’s about rolling with the punches, and learning to embrace change.
Topped off with that colourful, infectious chorus, ‘Find My Way Around’ is another sign of Cassia’s intent. Frontman Rob Ellis reveals…
‘Find My Way Around’ is about embracing change and reshaping our mindset regularly. I always see it as if our minds are pliable like play-dough, bending and adapting to our surroundings, which sometimes is really hard.
When writing the lyrics, it was going through my head about the times I’ve had to reinvent myself. It’s a reminder of the fluid nature of existence to myself, whether it’s redefining my identity or navigating relationships. I think this resonates universally, as most people probably encounter these moments at least a couple of times in their life. It’s a very poignant message for me and I’m really proud of it…
Tune in now.
