Cass McCombs has unveiled his new single ‘Robin Egg Blue’ which will be released on November 21st.
There’s a lot more to Cass McCombs than the public might perceive. A fiercely private artist, the songwriter seemed to enshrine himself as ‘difficult’ due to the introspective nature of his recent album ‘Wit’s End’.
Completing his second album in a year, though, Cass McCombs is seemingly set on displaying another side to his output. ‘Humor Risk’ is a more fleshed out, full sounding album than ‘Wit’s End’ and displays some genuinely light-hearted moments.
Out on November 7th, ‘Humor Risk’ will be trailed by the new single ‘Robin Egg Blue’. Available digitally from November 21st, the single will also contain a second version featuring additional production from Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend.
