The Stroke’s singer Julian Casablancas is set to branch out from the music industry after investing in a New York restaurant, it has been announced.
Julian Casablancas will DJ at the opening of the new restaurant today (October 13th), alongside a star-studded audience. Amongst the other big names who have invested in the new venture are Mark Ronson, Gerard Butler, Chris Masterson, Laura Prepon and DJ Steve Aoki.
The new eaterie is based in the Hollywood neighborhood, and will be a Korean restaurant called Shin. The other investors, including Mark Ronson, will DJ at the opening of the restaurant tomorrow night (October 13th).
When not eating Korean food, Casablancas should be working on the new Strokes album – there is no current release date for that record.
