Mute Records are set to release recordings from Carter Tutti Void – featuring members of Factory Floor and Throbbing Gristle.
With a back catalogue stretching back over three decades, Mute Records have a pull that other labels just can’t compete with. Hosting the Short Circuit festival last year, the imprint were able to coax Factory Floor’s Nik Void into collaborating with one time Throbbing Gristle pair Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti.
The one off performance impressed all those who were present, with Mute now deciding to make material from Carter Tutti Void more widely available.
The label have gathered together rehearsal recordings for a new album. Containing just four tracks, ‘Transverse’ is 40 minutes long and will be available to purchase from March 26th.
Set to be released as a digital download alongside CD and vinyl editions, ‘Transverse’ comes complete with some impressive artwork (pictured).
