Multi-instrumentalist Caroline Weeks is set to step out of the shadows and release her debut solo album ‘Songs For Edna’ on April 13th.

The musician worked under the name Ginger Lee for some time, playing support slots to Bat For Lashes. After discovering the name had been taken Weeks struck out on her own.
Hailing from a musical family in East Sussex, Caroline Weeks is an effortlessly self-taught multi-instrumentalist.
‘Songs For Edna’ features lyrics taken from the poetry of Edna St. Vincent-Millay. Set to a stark, minimal folk background the instrumentation sensitively places the lyrics within a modern setting.
Famed for her love sonnet, the late Vincent-Millay is often slighted by modern critics. However backed by Weeks’ delicate touch her words are given new life.
