Caroline Polachek has released ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You: Everasking Edition’.
The new release is an expanded edition of her album ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’ which landed exactly 12 months ago. Toasting its one year anniversary, Caroline Polachek has now added a plethora of extras.
So, you can expect an A. G. Cook produced cover of Operating Theatre’s ‘Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry In The Mouth’, alongside the DNB track ‘Coma’ – itself an extended rework of Default Genders’ ‘Pharmacoma (for Ben Deitz)’.
It’s not all club flavours, though. Caroline Polachek dials it down on an acoustic version of ‘I Believe’ – co-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid – while Weyes Blood pops up on a new arrangement of ‘Butterfly Net’.
Fans will also be able to soak up cinematic songs ‘Meanwhile’ and ‘Gambler’s Prayer’ while Caroline Polachek’s ultra-banger ‘Dang’ is also added to the tracklist.
Writing on Instagram, Caroline Polachek notes…
Desire was already a wide constellation of sounds; the Everasking Edition is here to extend its outer extremes, in every direction ✵ Final form, so old, so new..
Tune in now.
