Caribou Shares New Single ‘Broke My Heart’

Alongside some UK tour dates...

Caribou returns with new single ‘Broke My Heart’.

The producer ignited spring with his April single ‘Honey’, before announcing a string of UK shows for February 2025. Adding yet more dates, Caribou returns with something new, just in time for the summer season.

The electronic artist – real name Dan Snaith – brings his painterly touch to the fore on ‘Broke My Heart’, a song that emerged fully-formed from his sub-conscious. Drifting, opaque electronics, it’s then suddenly seized by a gripping synth line, and a dulcet vocal melody.

A rounded, effortlessly engaging song, ‘Broke My Heart’ feels tailor-made for those epic live shows.

Caribou comments…

“i always find it hard to believe those ‘it came to me in a dream’ stories about songs arriving fully formed… but this one was pretty close to that, which is not how it usually goes for me. i sat down at a piano one day and the string riff was just there at my fingertips and the vocal melody followed right behind it. i wish they all happened like that.”

Tune in now.
