Caribou will release new album ‘Honey’ on October 4th.
The producer is on a rich run right now, sharing a string of excellent summer-ready bangers. New album ‘Honey’ – his first in four years – is out on October 4th, featuring 12 tracks.
Dan Snaith oversees every aspect of the production, easing himself out of the universe built on 2020’s ‘Suddenly’.
Alongside this, Caribou have confirmed a four night run at London’s tiny Waiting Room venue – in fact, it’s the smallest club they’ve ever played.
Tickets will be available for free via a lottery starting on 29 August at 10AM BST via Caribou’s Instagram.
Out now, new single ‘Come Find Me’ has a warm, uplifting feel, with its French touch throwbacks sitting perfectly in line with our Olympian summer.
Dan Snaith comments…
“I love this kind of chord sequence and the sort of French touch type of vibe but it took a lot of time to find the right vocal hook and breakdown and make it more pop and concise. When I play that one in DJ sets, when it drops down to just the singing and then suddenly it’s a song that surges back in – I know for a fact no one in the crowd has heard it before and yet people always respond in this really emotionally charged, euphoric way… that’s always the best litmus test that a track has come together in the right way.”
Tune in now.
