Today, Cardi B has shared the next taste of her long-awaited sophomore album in the form of ‘Bongos’. Roping in go-to collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, the pair trade licentious bars over a cavalcade of bass and a turbo-charged reggaeton beat courtesy of We Good, Breyan Isaac and DJ SwanQo.
In an interview with HOT 97, Cardi B revealed ‘Bongos’ was the definitive pick from five other potential singles, and after hearing the beat there was only choice for a featured artist, going onto to call Megan her “work wife”.
Previously, the pair joined forces on the record-breaking ‘WAP’, the fastest song in Apple Music history by a female artist to peak at number one.
