Carbon / Silicon have announced that The Carbon Casino event planned for The Inn On The Green on January 18th will be cancelled. Prior engagements meant that doing the show in its entirety would have been impossible.
The Carbon Casino is a unique residency by the band, and its debut performance saw Topper Headon and Mick Jones reunited onstage for the first time since Topper was kicked out of the Clash. The two looked in fine form as they blasted through classics such as “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” and “Train In Vain”.
Carbon / Silicon will resume their residency on January 25th, playing for five weeks. The dates are: January 25th, February 1st, February 8th, February 15th and February 22nd.
The latest Carbon / Silicon single – entitled “Why Do Men Fight?” – is released on February 11th.
