Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan will return on May 5th with their second set of duets, entitled “Sunday At Devil Dirt”.
The unlikely duo previously teamed up for 2006’s debut “Ballad Of The Broken Seas”, which was nominated for the Mercury prize. The voices of Campbell and Lanegan compliment each other beautifully, with the new album embracing a Southern gothic theme.
Material for the project is written by former Belle & Sebastian member Isobel Campbell, with US alternative icon Lanegan providing lead vocals.
“Sunday At Devil Dirt” is released on May 5th.
