Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan are set to release a surprise new EP ‘Keep Me In Mind Sweetheart’ on November 17th, it has been announced.
One of music’s most unlikely partnerships is also one of its most fruitful – Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan’s transatlantic relationship has blossomed into a wonderful pairing. Campbell’s soft and sweet voice mixes with Lanegan’s bluesy husk like coke and Jack Daniels, and has resulted in two acclaimed albums.
The most recent of these was ‘Sunday At Devil Dirt’ and it seems like a few jewels from those sessions have fallen through the cracks. Collected on the new EP, the tracks were not excluded due to quality but more to ensure that the album hung together as a cohesive work.
As a result, this EP is a stunning addition to an already acclaimed career. Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan release their new EP ‘Keep Me In Mind Sweet Heart’ on November 17th. The duo have announced the following dates:
