Calvin Harris Banned From X Factor

Bosses act over incident

The bosses of hit pop show X Factor have banned Scottish pop producer Calvin Harris from the studio for life.

Calvin Harris seems keen to take on the music industry. Continually berating those who stand against him, the producer recently issued an angry statement after GMTV refused to show the video to his latest single.

Berating the show, the dance icon had the last laugh with a series of smash hits over the course of the summer. Calvin Harris however suffered another set back recently when he was forced to halt a show in Dundee after being hit on the head with a shoe.

That incident seems to have caused him to take leave of his sense. On Saturday night (November 14th) Calvin Harris stormed the stage at X Factor, disrupting a performance by Irish twins Jedward.

Clutching a pineapple to his head in an attempt to mock the pair, the producer slapped his bottom before running offstage.

Escorted outside by security the producer later issued a Twitter statement to fans, which didn’t help explain the bizarre incident.

Now media sources are reporting that X Factor bosses have acted to have Calvin Harris banned from the studio for life. With his ongoing GMTV row, this is another low in the war between Calvin Harris and ITV.

Calvin Harris has yet to respond.
