Well, just over a week is left to enter the Popview – Lex van Rossen Award 2009 to find and award the best new young European photographer.
Named in honour of the well known Dutch music photographer, Lex van Rossen, the competition is judged by a panel of industry professionals with the winner announced at next year’s Noorderslag festival, held in Groningen, Holland, between the 15th and 17th January.
The prize is 2500 Euros and a place in the Popview music photo exhibition alongside six runners up, which runs for a month from 15th January in the Noorderlicht Photogallery in Groningen, Holland.
The winning shot will also be published in Clash’s February issue, a special edition featuring the best of music photography past, present and future.
