Following in the footsteps of Pennie Smith’s iconic pictures of The Clash, Roger Sargent’s timeless document of The Libertines‘ career, or Anton Corbijn’s immaculate work with U2, the role of a music photographer is your chance of witnessing first hand rock stars at their most revealing and intimate.
If you’ve captured a unique moment at a gig recently, or caught a musician in a flattering artistic light, send your pictures in an email – with subject ‘Photography Competition’ – to [email protected]
Include in your email your full name, age, address and telephone number.
Clash will be in touch with the five winners after the closing date to arrange the prize of a shoot with a band, to be featured in Clash Magazine (and on ClashMusic.com) on sale February 2009.
