Strange, deranged and wonderfully entertaining – Kentucky’s own Cage The Elephant are set to return to the UK with their famously unhinged live act.
Cage The Elephant released their self-titled debut album earlier this year, and were flooded with praise as critics marveled at their Iggy Pop meets The Rolling Stones bar-room anthems. A raucous affair on record, live the band are truly incendiary with as wild a stage show as we have seen.
A performance on Later… With Jools Holland saw the band stun the audience with their wild stages move, while their slot at this year’s Rock Ness festival involved their mothers dresses, some filthy rock ‘n’ roll and Clash magazine badge being used a nipple piercing.
Cage The Elephant are set to play the FS04 Freeze Festival at Battersea Power Station this Friday (October 24th) before heading out on full UK tour.
