Saviour of rap music Cadence Weapon is set to release his latest single “House Music” on May 12th, it has been announced.
Taken from breakout album “Afterparty Babies”, the new single is an exhilarating mixture of go go, house and hip hop. Bringing to mind the house music explorations of early 90s hip hop heads The Jungle Brothers, “House Music” is an exciting collision of genres and may well be a party classic in the making.
Produced by mysterious knob-twiddler A1 Bassline, Cadence Weapon’s rapping flows over the stunning beats with a sharp, cerebral edge. Equal parts dance anthem and polemic, this showcases Cadence Weapon at his best.
“House Music” is released on 12 inch and download from May 12th.
