Ben Watt – owner and impressario of not one but two record labels – will be a busy man over the next few weeks. His award-winning techno and house imprint Buzzin’ Fly will be battling it out with Watt’s other half – indie label Strange Feeling.
On February 16th Buzzin’ Fly will step into its new residency at The End, and to celebrate Ben Watt will be joined by hip Hamburg producer Solomun of Dynamic Records. Meanwhile Buzzin’ Fly’s latest signings French duo Mile Caro and Franck Garcia will be rockin’ it up in the Lounge.
Elsewhere in London, the first ever Buzzin’ Fly versus Strange Feeling event will be taking place on February 13th. Held at The Luminaire, the two labels will battle it our for supremacy. Far newer than its sister label Strange Feeling has released indie records from the likes of Figurines, and has already carved out a name for itself as an influential taste maker.
