Burial To Produce Mika?

Sources suggest it could happen

Reclusive dubstep icon Burial could be set to work with helium voiced warbler Mika, sources suggest.

Burial is one of the most reclusive producers of his generation. Over the course of two albums the London musician’s skittering post-garage sounds have been embraced by the dubstep scene, sharing a common love of bass.

Revealing his true identity after being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, Burial was inundated with remix offers. Now one appears to be too good to be true.

According to sources close to the London based singer, Mika’s new album is set to be remixed by Burial. The helium voiced star has allegedly grown tired of his pop persona, and wishes to return to his roots in sub bass.

Previous album ‘The Boy Who Knew Too Much’ was an enormous success, with the BRIT and Grammy award committees showering the singer in praise. However it seems as if a change of direction is in order for Mika.

Typically, Burial has yet to comment on the rumours although his silence is thought to be incriminating. The dubstep producer is scheduled to give Massive Attack’s album the once over, with his ‘DJ Kicks’ compilation still lying forlornly on the release schedule.
