First, the good news: Buraka Som Sistema are set to head out on tour.
Now, the bad news: it will be the Portuguese outfit's final tour before going on indefinite hiatus.
The collective become a force of energy across the past ten years, playing more than 800 shows and releasing three rightly celebrated albums.
Playing a full global tour in 2016, Buraka Som Sistema will then call it quits. The group explain:
"Nothing is lost, everything changes, which is why instead of calling it quits we’d like to look at this as a hiatus. Above all we’re still as in love with this music as we were 10 years ago, so we want to keep showing you everything that’s going on in the universe of everyone involved in this project."
