MOBO Award-winning rapper Bugzy Malone has today his shared new single, ‘The Robbery’.
‘The Robbery’ follows recent release ‘The Riddler‘, the first in a series of unsparing, narrative-based new tracks leading to a larger project in the new year. Visceral and unmoored, ‘The Robbery’ captures Bugzy at his kinetic best as he recounts the fictional story of The Riddler breaking into his house to find ‘The Lost Tapes’ – a collection of four long-lost, previously unheard Bugzy mixtapes.
“Releasing these mixtapes is a moment,” Bugzy says of his archival release. “Bringing out the rawness and taking the fans back to the roots that set the stage for a massive rise in the game. These tapes are a real shoutout to the day one Bugzy fans and a bonus for all the fans who have been on the journey with me through the years.”
Available to pre-order both digitally and via limited collector’s edition 4xCD direct from Bugzy’s online store for the first time, ‘The Lost Tapes’ will be available on December 6th. It’s an essential buy, and a repository of Buggy’s formative first steps as Manchester’s premier MC.
