Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Ghosts’ Is A Rousing Ode To Age And Memory

His new album 'Letter To You' is incoming...

Living legend Bruce Springsteen has just released the second single from his upcoming twentieth album ‘Letter To You’.

Having first announced the album with a music video for its title track earlier in the month, the Boss is back with another stirring heartland rock cut. 'Ghosts', a rousing ode to age and memory, accompanied by a lyric video in which black and white footage of Springsteen and his familiar backing group the E Street Band is interspersed with shots taken from his touring history.

The band are credited as players on the new record, which will have been the first time they performed with Springsteen since 2016’s ‘The River’ tour.

“‘Ghosts’ is about the beauty and joy of being in a band and the pain of losing one another to illness and time”, says Springsteen in a press note. “‘Ghosts’ tries to speak to the spirit of the music itself, something none of us owns but can only discover and share together”.

Produced by Springsteen with Ron Aniello, ‘Letter To You’ will be released on the October 23rd via Columbia Records.
