Scottish Group Prepare New Release

Hotly tipped Scottish band Broken Records have gathered a large homeland following, and are set to show the rest of the world what they can do when new single “Lies” is released on November 3rd.

The band hail from Edinburgh and their ornate, multi instrumental songs blend orchestral folk arrangements with pop melody. Broken Records have spent the bulk of the summer playing festivals, earning plaudits wherever they go. Now signed to Distiller Records, the band are set to release fans favourite “Lies” on limited edition 7 inch and download with a new track “Travelling Songs” on the B-side.

Forming in 2006 Broken Records have taken their time on the road to fame, slowly building a devoted following. After the success of their first, self-released EP the band then released singles on hip indies Young Turks and Fandango. Tipped for the top by almost everyone you care to mention, Broken Records may be set to erm.. break some records.
