Come Back Better aligns new talent with young creatives...

Brixton venue The Windmill have launched new out-reach initiative Come Back Better.

The South London venue is an independent redoubt, one of the capital's finest new music incubators.

Closing tied to the communities that surround it, The Windmill have teamed with Dr Marten's to launch new programme Come Back Better.

Aiming to help young musicians and creatives more broadly, Come Back Better links non-male musicians with an array of networking, mentorship and collaboration opportunities.

The two week initiative includes sessions with Holly Whitaker - one of London's finest young band photographers - and graphic artist Raissa Padini, who has worked on visuals for bands such as IDLES, Squid, and The Orielles.

Slow Dance Records' Maddy O’Keefe and South London trio PVA will contribute guidance, while the mighty Goat Girl will pick a support act to join them as a special Come Back Better live performance and Q&A at the Windmill on June 30th.
