Britney Spears could be set for an Oprah special - and she says her parents should be in jail.
The singer was freed from the controversial conservatorship last week, sparking emotional scenes for her loyal fans.
In a new message, Britney Spears seemed to indicate that she was planning a tell-all Oprah special about these past few turbulent years.
Posting a video online - alongside a lengthy Instagram caption - Britney Spears comments: “I’ve been on the conservatorship for 13 years – that’s a really long time to be in a situation you don’t wanna be in!”
She wrote in the caption: “Honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me … it was demoralising and degrading !!!!”
“I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN and I hope they can look up tonight and know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN !!!!”
Speaking freely, Britney added: “I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me, which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother !!!!”
Claiming her independence, the singer appeared to be in a good place. "I'm not here to be a victim," she says. “I’m just grateful honestly for each day and being able to have the keys to my car and being able to be independent and feel like a woman.”
Directly addressing her fans, she says: "You guys saved my life... 100%!"
