British Sea Power release their new single “Waving Flags” this week, a taster from their incredible new album “Do You Like Rock Music?”. To support it the band are embarking on a frenzy of media leg work, playing and speaking literally here, there and everywhere.
On Monday (January 7th) the band will play an in-store at Zavvi in Manchester, before whizzing over to Steve Lamacq’s place to record a live session. On Tuesday (January 8th) the band will chat with Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie before playing live on their Radio 2 show.
Fans of time travel may be interested to note that British Sea Power will be playing live on XFM Manchester and BBC6Music on Wedneday at exactly the same time. Truly, these are gifted indiviuals.
On the live front the band will be playing a special gig at the Czech Embassy, London on Thursday. Alas, the tickets for this event have long since sold out.
