BRIT Awards 2024 will take place on March 2nd, it has been confirmed.
The glitzy event was traditionally a mid-week feast, before claiming a Saturday night prime time slot in 2023. The move seemed to work – viewing figures hit new records, bolstered by some memorable, high profile performances.
Looking ahead, it has just been confirmed that Brit Awards 2024 will retain its Saturday slot. Taking place in London’s The O2 Arena, it will be broadcast across ITV1 and ITVX on March 2nd.
Sally Wood will continue as Executive Producer of the show for BRITs TV, Misty Buckley will take care of sets and staging, while Damian Christian, Managing Director and President of Promotions at Atlantic Records, remains Chair of the BRIT Committee.
Looking to the ceremony, Damian Christian says…
“The move to a Saturday night for the first time proved to be a huge success, so I’m delighted we’ll be back in a primetime slot again in March. A Saturday night show helped us lock in our most engaged audience ever, and we’ll be looking to build on that base as we connect with even more fans in 2024. Next year’s BRITs will be our most ambitious show yet, with a host of exciting performances from incredible artists, as we look to celebrate the music that soundtracked our 2023.”
