BRIT Awards 2013 – Full Nominations

The entire list revealed...

The full nominations for this year's BRIT Awards have been unveiled – check out the full list below.

The awards season is now in full swing. This afternoon (January 10th) the Academy Awards committee revealed the nominations for 2013, with fans swarming onto Twitter to dissect the results.

Now it's the turn of the BRIT Awards. Tonight the full nominations for this year's ceremony were announced, producing some remarkable coincidences.

Resurrecting the British Live Act category, Coldplay, Muse, Mumford & Sons and The Vaccines are set to do battle with The Rolling Stones. Toasting their 50th anniversary at the O2 Arena, the legendary rockers are the only band to feature in both this year's nominations and at the initial incarnation of the BRIT Awards back in 1977.

British Female Solo award will no doubt be closely fought, with double nominees Jessie Ware and Paloma Faith going up against Emeli Sandé and the late Amy Winehouse – who is nominated for the success of posthumous collection ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’.

Mumford & Sons are nominated for British Group, British Live Act and MasterCard British Album Of The Year, whilst Alt J are nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Group and MasterCard Album Of The Year.
