Bright Eyes Launch New Album ‘Five Dice, All Threes’

It's out on September 20th...

Bright Eyes will release new album ‘Five Dice, All Threes’ on September 20th.

The much-loved group are back, with their tenth studio album due to land later this summer. Out on September 20th, ‘Five Dice, All Threes’ was self-produced, with Bright Eyes knuckling down as Mike and Conor’s studio, ARC, in Omaha, Nebraska.

The band’s first album in four years, the incoming LP follows 2020 triumph ‘Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was’. Guests on the final tracklisting include some notable close friends, such as Cat PowerThe National’s Matt Berninger and The So So Glos’ Alex Orange Drink.

New song ‘Bells And Whistles’ is an acerbic indie pop belter, with the bouncing melody masking a whip-smart lyric from Conor Oberst that references (deep breath) Banksy, Princess Diana, the Mets, and Kevin Costner’s cinematic feats.

A ridiculously catchy moment, the video for ‘Bells And Whistles’ was shot in Omaha, Nebraska by director Josh Boone, and it boasts a magical photobooth, a bar fight, and a performance.

Tune in now.
