Bright Eyes Eerily Predict Lockdown Isolation With ‘One And Done’

Tune in now...

Bright Eyes have shared their new single 'One And Done'.

The track features on their incoming album, the band's first full length project in almost a decade.

Out now, 'One And Done' features a typically sumptuous vocal from Conor Oberst, one that predicts the kind of isolation COVID-19 has brought upon us.

He sings: “This whole town looks empty, but we knew it wouldn’t last / Behind bulletproof windows they're still wiring the cash / Whatever they could scrape up, whatever that they had / there's a lot of mouths to feed through this famine…”

The sweeping orchestral arrangement comes courtesy of the band’s Nathaniel Walcott, while the rhythm section is powered by Jon Theodore and Flea.

Tune in now.
