Glastonbury festival could be the site of Britain's farewell to the EU if Theresa May gets her way.
Back in 2016 the festival was turned into an impromptu wake, with news of the Brexit vote falling on Glastonbury Friday.
The palpable shift in mood affected all present, but it did lead to some extraordinary performances – notably from Christine and the Queens – to lift spirits.
A few moments ago Theresa May requests a new Brexit date of June 30th, having failed to lead Parliament to any kind of consensus over the country's next step.

June 30th is of course Glastonbury Sunday, so the Prime Minister could once again be placing the shadow of Brexit over the festival.
Kylie Minogue is playing the coveted Sunday afternoon slot at Glastonbury this summer… could she save the weekend?
