Brandt Brauer Frick have posted their new Om'mas Keith collaboration 'Plastic Like Your Mother' – listen to it below.
Widely acclaimed for their experimental take on dance culture, Brandt Brauer Frick have long re-interpreted electronic music with a classical framework. Their new album 'Miami' though, finds the German group taking even more chances than usual.
Working with a number of collaborators, eyebrows were raised when Om'mas Keith appeared on the tracklisting. A Grammy award winning producer – he scooped two trophies just last week – Keith seems to come from a different style, a different discipline than the German trio.
Yet this is really where Brandt Brauer Frick thrive. The resulting track is named 'Plastic Like Your Mother' and seems to emphasise the sheer creativity which ran through those sessions.
