Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble Get Remixed

Soul Clap re-work 'Pretend'

Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble are giving away a new remix of ‘Pretend’ ahead of a one off London show.

Techno and classical music – polar opposites. Right? Wrong. German group Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble are inspired by both, with their music matching the propulsive feel of techno with the lush textures of orchestral composition.

Debut album ‘You Make Me Real’ found the band struggling with their own ambitions, yet their identity shone through. Follow up ‘Mr. Machine’ was released earlier this year, and saw Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble joined by a ten piece collective for a much more direct, coherent and downright impressive offering.

Taking off on a tour of the United States, Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble have been fine tuning their live show. The German group are set to return to Europe next month, announced plans for a one off show in London.

Fabric will showcase the group, with Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble planning something very special. In the meantime, the German production team have handed album highlight ‘Pretend’ over to Soul Clap for a new remix.

The results are more club driven than the original, although Soul Clap don’t lose sight of Brandt Brauer Frick’s expansive aims.
