Brad Stank’s ‘O.T.D.’ Is A Surreal Jazz-Pop Ear-Worm

A Liverpool newcomer to watch...

Liverpool newcomer Brad Stank has shared surreal jazz-pop ear-worm 'O.T.D.'.

The songwriter's loose-limbed take on rhythm affords his work an elastic feel, with new single 'Daddy Blue' leading the way.

Given an extremely limited physical pressing, 'Daddy Blue' is an infectious introduction with a wozzy jazz-pop nugget on the flip.

'O.T.D.' sounds like a whimsical Mersey take on some of King Krule's less linear offerings, all while introducing subtle elements of psych.

“’O.T.D.’ is a hymn held close to my heart; my baby and I far away for the summer feeling adored despite our distance,” says Brad. “Precious, voluptuous new love – an acronym never to be revealed.”
