Brí is spearheading a wave of creative energy across Irish music.
The alt-pop auteur is doing things her own way, however, sculpting fresh shapes that join left-field ideas to glorious melodies.
New single 'Burying' is a case in point, with its gossamer arrangement linked to a superb vocal.
So pointed and driven, 'Burying' finds Brí moving deep inside, connecting with songwriting on a fundamental level.
The single "expresses the need to break away whether from the media, the news or an unhealthy relationship," she says.
Brí continues: "It is a dance between strength and weakness depending on how it is perceived. I relate to the song now more than ever. There is a divide in the world that I don't want to be a part of."
This motif of the dance is explored in the beautiful video, in which dancer and choreographer Lisa Hogan performs in the ballroom of Charleville Castle, Tullamore.
