Boys Noize Records is set to reach a new milestone with the release of their 50th single.
Boys Noize has become a force in dance music. The German DJ has reached a rare level of fame, capable of bringing together rock and indie fans with the techno faithful at his ever eclectic sets.
A respected producer, Boys Noize runs his own record label. Helping to foster new talent, the imprint has released a string of new cuts over the past few years.
Balancing his own career with the label, Boys Noize will celebrate the 50th release on the imprint. For the golden anniversary Boys Noize has stepped up to the plate to present two brand new tracks.
Recalling the Acid House explosion, ‘1010’ is driven by propulsive 303 beats. A slice of retro fun, it contains all the energy of those epochal summer raves in ’87 and ’88. On the flipside, fans can find the fun house anthem ‘Yeah’ which is already gaining plays across Europe and beyond.
Both tracks are staples of the Boys Noize live set, and are a fantastic way for the label to toast its 50th anniversary.
Meanwhile, the German imprint is planning to launch a new sub-label. Starting from October, BNR Trax will become a digital platform for more left field releases which don’t quite fit the ethos of the main label.
The first BNR Trax release will come courtesy of Electric Rescue, the resident from the legendary Rex Club in Paris. With fans including Ritchie Hawtin, Sven Väth and Tiga the DJ comes highly recommended.
Dedicating itself to techno bangers as well as left field music, BNR Trax is also planning to release the new single from Britain’s Jan Driver.
Boys Noize is set to release ‘1010’ / ‘Yeah’ on September 20th.
