Since the release of rightly celebrated album 'The North Borders' last year, Bonobo have been on the road almost continuously.
With their fluid live show seeming to stretch and change with each passing show, the group are set to see out the year with an enormous headline date at London's Alexandra Palace.
Now the band will gather some wonderful live footage in a new project. 'The North Borders Tour' utilises unseen and unheard recordings, gathered into lavish packaging.
Released in October, a CD + book package will be available, which Ninja Tune bill as:
"Beautiful 70-page hardback book containing stories from the band, Bonobo’s personal photos, a foreword by Gilles Peterson and more. The book is portrait sized and clothbound holding the live CD and DVD, all designed by Leif Podhajsky. The live CD contains tracks performed by Bonobo on The North Borders Tour, recorded at major shows and exclusive radio sessions all over the world. The DVD contains incredible footage of a Bonobo show performed in an ancient Roman amphitheatre in Croatia and at London’s Roundhouse in 2013. Plus, there is interview and behind the scenes footage from shows in California."
In addition to this, 'The North Borders Tour' will be available on vinyl (2 x 12 inch) and as a digital download.
