Canadian alt-pop maverick Boniface has soared back into view with new single 'Wake Me Back Up'.
It's a sweeping, muscular return from the songwriter, who worked on the release with Blaenavon's Ben Gregory on guitar.
The two toured with one another last year, and their intimate chemistry helps push 'Wake Me Back Up' to a fresh level.
A song about "feeling you’re on the brink of something significant" it actually refers to a relationship in Boniface's life.
Recorded in London earlier this year, 'Wake Me Back Up' benefits from production by Neil Comber.
The video itself was directed by the songwriter's brother and bandmate Joey Visser. Boniface explains:
"We filmed it in a very hot garage a few weeks back. Actually, the same garage the song was written in a few summers ago..."
