Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon & Colin Stetson Cover Fink

'Warm Shadow' gets re-worked

Colin Stetson has hooked up with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon to record a cover of Fink's 'Warm Shadow'.

Don't look now, but Fink is massive. Fourth studio album 'Perfect Darkness' dropped last year, sparking an international tour which contained the songwriter's largest shows to date. Capable of selling out venues such as the Shepherd's Bush Empire, Fink is gaining acclaim from high reaching places.

Bon Iver are clearly fans, with saxophonist Colin Stetson teaming up with Justin Vernon to cover 'Warm Shadow'. Drawn from 'Perfect Darkness', this new version is a supple, faithful rendition of Fin Greenall's songwriting.

Bundled onto the full single release of 'Warm Shadow', the new cover version is matched by a pair of electronic work outs. Sideshow adds some serious dub effects to the original, while Marcus Worgull pushes 'Warm Shadow' into a Berghain flavoured direction.

Tracklisting:
1. Warm Shadow (Radio Edit)
2. Colin Stetson & Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver) – Warm Shadow
3. Warm Shadow (Sideshow Remix)
4. Warm Shadow (Marcus Worgull Remix)

Finally… 'Warm Shadow' is featured in an episode of 'Walking Dead' – airing last Friday (March 15th) on Fox.

Fancy some more Fink? Here's an intimate session version of 'Warm Shadow'.
