Bon Iver will release new single ‘S P E Y S I D E’ later this week.
The Justin Vernon centred project last released a studio album in 2019, with the acclaimed, ‘I,I’. Since then, the songwriter has released an album under the collaborative bracket Big Red Machine, in addition to a flurry of studio sessions – notably everyone from Beyonce to Beverly Glenn-Copeland.
Now Bon Iver is stirring back into life. New single ‘S P E Y S I D E’ is out on Friday (September 20th), with fans able to pre-save it now.
According to the press notes, ‘S P E Y S I D E’ features vocals and guitar by Justin Vernon, and viola from Rob Moose. The song was produced by Justin Vernon and Jim-E Stack, and will be accompanied by a music video from Erinn Springer.
Is there a Scottish connection here…? Speyside is a gorgeous part of the country, and is famously a heartland for the whisky industry.
