Bombay Bicycle Club, Holly Humberstone Combine On ‘Diving’

It's a beautiful duet...

Bombay Bicycle Club and Holly Humberstone duet on new single ‘Diving’.

The band are back, with sixth studio album ‘My Big Day’ set to land on October 20th. It’s set to be a collaborative affair, with Bombay Bicycle Club lining up special guest appearances from the likes of Damon Albarn, Jay Som, and Nilüfer Yanya.

The wonderful Holly Humberstone appears on new single ‘Diving’, which is a finely finessed, carefully contoured work. A rich, refulgent piece of songwriting, it leans in to Bombay Bicycle Club’s strengths – the emphatic lyric, the dulcet melody – while also exacting space for Holly to inhabit.

Jack Steadman says: “‘Diving’ is a song about that summer you have when you’re 15, the memory of which conjures up such a unique feeling. You’re discovering everything for the first time and the world seems as scary and exhilarating as diving off a tall cliff into a lake.”

“Holly is the perfect fit for this song. Her music perfectly captures those feelings of early life, and her voice gives the whole song so much emotion.”

A wistful return, ‘Diving’ is accompanied by a new acoustic take on the song. Tune in now.
