Legendary songwriter Bob Dylan is set to stream his new album ‘Tell Tales Signs’ in its entirety online from next week, it has been announced.
Currently in a purple patch of creativity, this is the first Dylan release since the huge success of the ‘Modern Times’ album. A massive hit with critics and fans, it saw Dylan claim his first US Billboard number one since the mid 70s.
Dylan is set to re-issue a book of poetry that was thought to have vanished in the mid 60s, while the singer is also working on the secodn volume of his acclaimed memoirs ‘Chronicles’.
‘Tell Tale Signs’ is the latest in the so-called Bootleg Series – a vehicle Dylan uses to release some of the tracks that don’t make it onto his official studio albums. The ever productive wordsmith has compiled tracks from the previous twenty years of his career, ranging from the New Orleans stomp of ‘Oh Mercy’ to the career saving ‘Time Out Of Mind’.
A double disc, ‘Tell Tale Signs’ is due out in the US on October 7th and will be streaming on National Public Radio’s Music website from September 30th.
