Blur bass player turned part-time cheese maker Alex James isn't voting Labour, it seems.
The musician and gentleman farmer has watched the debates unfold, before making his verdict known – where else? – on social media.
He writes:
I just cannot bring myself to vote for Jeremy Corbyn #CantBeCorbyn #BBCDebate

The quote caused mayhem online, with fans piling on to the bassist:
alex james and noel gallagher both having shit politics is just more proof that pulp are the best britpop band

It seemed to cause opprobrium within Blur themselves, with Graham Coxon quietly making his feelings known:
GRAHAM COXON DIDNT SAY A FUCKING WORD ABOUT ALEX JAMES HE JUST QUIETLY RETWEETED A LABOUR TWEET AND LEFT

Drummer Dave Rowntree, meanwhile, is a Labour councillor and is currently campaigning on behalf of the party:
Proud to say I’ve (postal) voted @labourlewis for Norwich South, and will be out canvassing with him* in the morning. #LabourParty @UKLabour
*weather permitting
