Blur Re-Union Possible

Albarn Hints At Reconciliation

Damon Albarn has given a new interview in which he has hinted at the possibility of a Blur re-union, with the singer apparently hanging out with former guitarist Graham Coxon.

The two have barely spoken since Graham Coxon left Blur in 2002, and had a furious row online after Albarn claimed in an interview that a Blur re-union would never happen. An enraged Coxon left a posting on Blur’s official forum stating his case, and asking Albarn to reconsider his views.

“It’s very possible I’ll go back to Blur, it really is very possible,” Albarn said in an interview with the BBC.

Albarn is currently working on his new Gorillaz inspired opera, but was delighted to see Coxon again. “He’s great, it’s fantastic to get my old friend back. So it’s good but I can’t really say any more than that.”

Blur’s last album was 2003’s ‘Think Tank’.
