Hounslow’s finest The Bluetones are set to tour the UK – and will play their debut ‘Expecting To Fly’ in its entirety.
The band announced a series of dates throughout England in December, which will see the band play cuts such as ‘Slight Return’ and ‘Cut Some Rug’, minor Britpop gems from their number one album which was released in ’96.
The band have had less success since the demise of Britpop, but a decade ago were cited as a major talent amid the ‘cool britania’ class, of which Elastica,Blur,Oasis and Sleeper were also spawned.
The Bluetones tickets are now on sale for dates in Lincoln, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and London between the 9th and the 19th of December 2008. Buy Tickets online for these gigs now from the Clash Misuc Ticket store.
