The Bluetones, the much maligned yet still really-rather-good Britpop trailblazers, are set to make their comeback shortly.
The jovial quartet enjoyed much success in the Britpop movement, but their fortunes waned as guitar pop faded from the mainstream. The band did, however, enjoy grassroots success and remained a big touring band.
The band begin their comeback in May 2008 with a gig at the prestigious O2 venue. Their new “Collection” album will be released on Universal on April 28th.
