Blue Note Records will link with Total Refreshment Centre on a new compilation.
The historic jazz stable is set to touch down in London, with ‘Transmissions From Total Refreshment Centre’ due to land later this year. Out on February 17th, the eclectic selection aims to offer a cross-section of the creativity running through London’s jazz communities right now.
It’s only right that Blue Note returns to Total Refreshment Centre, the creative hub that has offered space to so many musicians in the past decade. A pivotal source of energy in London music, their boundary-less approach is reflected in the final compilation, which moves from post-bop styles to dub, neo-soul, drill and more.
Out on February 17th, ‘Transmissions From Total Refreshment Centre’ boasts new music from Byron Wallen, Jake Long, Matters Unknown, Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, Neue Grafik, and Resavoir.
Available to pre-order now, lead cut ‘Visions’ by Soccer96 is online now – watch out for the Kieron Boothe guest feature, too.
Tune in now.
