Blossoms have shared new single ‘What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?’ – tune in now.
The single is the band’s first release since 2023 song ‘To Do List (After The Breakup)’ and comes ahead of a busy summer. Catch Blossoms at the Isle of Wight festival, with the group also supporting Tom Grennan at his epic Finsbury Park headliner in London.
Out now, ‘What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?’ finds Blossoms shaking it up – alongside long-time producer James Skelly of The Coral, the song was pieced together alongside J Lloyd from Jungle.
Blossoms comment…
“We’ve always been big fans of Jungle so we reached out to them last year about working together. This was the first song we worked on, it came together in a couple of hours and we absolutely love it. Sonically, it feels like a new avenue for the band but it still retains the core Blossoms DNA”.
The video for ‘What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?’ was directed by Ewan Ogden and the band’s Tom Ogden. Opening in a gorgeous Mid Century house, it finds Blossoms getting a pep talk from Everton Football Club’s manager Sean Dyche, before venturing across the moors to steal ‘Gary the Gorilla’ – an 8-foot fibre glass gorilla taken from a Lancashire garden centre last year.
Sean Dyche says…
“I was delighted to be asked to appear in Blossoms new video and it was great to have a ‘craic’ with them whilst filming. Great lads and a great band … Loving what they all produce”.
Tune in now.
Blossoms are supporting Tom Grennan at Finsbury Park, London on August 10th.
